Iraq’s climate is characterised by a continental climate, with dry and exceptionally hot summers and relatively rainy cool winters, subtropical in the north and tropical in the south. Precipitation in Iraq is low, with the main rainfall occurring in winter, and the southern parts of the country may experience periodic flooding due to river overflow.

We were approached by MP Dalo Plastic. The company has been a manufacturer of plastic packaging since 1978. In 2015 they opened a new production facility (5000 m2) located in Pancar Industrial Zone, Izmir, Turkey. The products they also started to manufacture are: disinfectants, detergents, agricultural pesticides, medical bags, ketchup, mayonnaise, ayran bags, general products in polythene bottles and drums, etc.
The company needed an air cooled chiller for an injection moulding machine. The temperature range needed was 8-9 °C at the outlet.
Taking into account the customer’s wishes and understanding the technological peculiarities of the company, our specialist selected a CARRIER 30XA chiller of 2008 with a power of 391 kW. Its dimensions are 4.80 x 2.25 x 2.30 metres. This chiller was in excellent condition with a test run.
The chiller is equipped with 2 Carlyle screw compressors, shell and tube heat exchangers and also an economiser option. This option uses outside air to cool the liquid, reducing the compressor load and increasing the efficiency of the chiller.
MP Dalo Plastic decided to contact us again for another chiller after a successful first order. A CARRIER 30XA chiller, manufactured in 2007, with an output of 988 kW and dimensions of 9.6 x 2.26 x 2.3 metres, was selected for the company. This chiller was in perfect condition and had a minimum number of operating hours.
Like the previous chiller, the model is fitted with 2 Carlyle screw compressors, shell and tube heat exchangers and an economiser option.
The chillers have successfully passed thorough testing by our station. Before dispatch, we carried out a comprehensive preparation, including cleaning the unit, checking all key parameters and fine-tuning the controller to the set temperatures.
