WATERCOOLED CHILLER/HEAT PUMP AERMEC NXW for «RIKKA KHUST»

Ukraine is the largest country in Europe, bordered by Romania and Moldova to the southwest, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland to the west, Belarus to the north, and Russia to the east and northeast. It is washed by the Black and Azov Seas to the south. The country’s territory lies mostly in the temperate-continental zone of the moderate climatic belt, with increasing continental influence from the northwest to the southeast. The southern coast of Crimea stands out as a separate region with a subtropical Mediterranean climate. In the Ukrainian Carpathians and Crimean Mountains, the altitude and slope exposure determine the vertical zonality of the climate.

Ukraine’s economy is a new mixed economy with below-average income, located in Eastern Europe. The foundation of the Ukrainian economy consists of a diversified industry, agriculture, and the service sector.

In the service sector of Ukraine, there is the company “RIKKA KHUST.” The company is constructing a 5-star year-round thermal resort with advanced internal infrastructure in the city of Khust, designed for 1500 simultaneous visitors. Apartel Rikka Khust includes an apartment hotel, an indoor pool and spa area, its own thermal well and healing water, thermal baths, eight cafes and restaurants, a medical building, the largest outdoor pool in Zakarpattia, and a water park. At the end of March 2022, a strategic decision was made to continue construction. In July, they opened the second part of the complex with a children’s pool and a water park. Apartel Rikka is located in a unique ecological place where the Tysa and Rikka rivers meet. Each window of our apartment hotel offers a view of the mountains surrounding the complex, creating a moderate and peaceful climate.

To support the temperature in the pools and pavilions, the company needed a chiller with a heat pump. Therefore, our specialists assisted in the selection and recommended the AERMEC NXW. Despite its compact size (1.80 x 0.80 x 1.85 m), the chiller is equipped with a plate heat exchanger and four spiral compressors, providing a power of 181 kW cooling capacity and 203 kW heating capacity.

The chiller underwent all stages of testing, after which it was adjusted to the required temperature modes and sent to Ukraine, to the city of Khust. Evroprom provided not only delivery and warranty but also a full range of necessary services so that our client was completely satisfied and could immediately use the chiller in operation.
