Dott.Gallina was founded by Pier Aulo Gallina in 1960 to produce plastic parts for the automotive industry. Over the years, the company expanded its product range and began to work in different sectors: industry and construction. Today, Dott.Gallina is a leader in its field, with operations in the USA, India, Greece, Turkey and also in Germany.
The company needed three chillers for one of its production units specialising in polymer extrusion for the production of technical profiles, polycarbonate sheets and other products. The required operating temperature was about +15°C at the outlet. Thanks to our high reputation on the Machineseeker marketplace, as well as customer feedback, Dott.Gallina approached us.
Taking into account the customer’s wishes and understanding the technological features of the enterprise, our specialist selected the following chillers: BLUE BOX EPSILON ECHOS, BLUE BOX EPSILON ECHOS DK, BLUE BOX KAPPA.
The BLUE BOX EPSILON ECHOS chiller, released in 2016, is an outlet (stock-new) model with an output of 26 kW. This model is equipped with a single SIAM scroll compressor, Lowara hydronic module with expansion tank and has a heat pump option.
The BLUE BOX EPSILON ECHOS DK chiller is also a stock-new model released in 2013 with an output of 19 kW. This chiller is equipped with a single Copeland scroll compressor and a high-pressure fan function.
BLUE BOX KAPPA chiller, 2009, second-hand, but with a very low running time of 130 operating hours with an output of 270 kW. This chiller is equipped with a freecooling function, low-noise design, built-in hydronic module with two Lowara pumps, expansion tank and storage tank.
The chiller has successfully passed thorough testing by our station. Prior to dispatch, we carried out a comprehensive preparation, including cleaning the unit, checking all key parameters and fine-tuning the controller to the set temperatures.
