The specificity of metallurgy requires effective cooling, as high-temperature technologies are used in metal processing, and cooling systems are essential. Water, antifreeze, and other liquids are used as cooling agents in such circuits. The heat carrier from a special tank enters the pipeline of a coil type, where it takes excess heat from the machine and cools moving parts. However, when the liquid returns to the tank with different temperature characteristics, constant cooling of the tank content is required for its reuse. The problem of tank overheating is best solved by introducing a chiller into the system. Based on this specificity, our specialist proposed the CLIMAVENETA MACS/LN 150 kW chiller to the company. This chiller with a power of 150 kW, although manufactured in 2006, has excellently preserved its cooling ability. Such power was chosen specifically for the customer’s order, as the liquid in the tank must have a constant temperature necessary for the quality cooling of machinery, presses, welding equipment, rolling mills, electro-erosion installations, and others.
